SADiE System Upgrades
You can save 25% off the new price of certain SADiE products by upgrading your existing units. This page gives an overview of the principles of the upgrades on offer. For detailed pricing, please contact your dealer or distributor or contact us directly.Which equipment can be upgraded?
The upgrade is for any previous SADiE hardware core processor system, which includes:
- SADiE ‘classic' XS Card
- 24.96 Card
- Artemis Card
- Octavia Card
- RADiA Card
- PCM4 Card
- PCM8 Card
- LRX1 Unit
In order to comply with this upgrade offering, you must agree that the old card is either returned to the UK factory (at your expense), or is otherwise rendered unusable in accordance with your local environmental laws that govern the disposal of such electronic assets.
PCM4 and PCM8 systems: These can be upgraded to a higher specified system (i.e. H-Series or LRX2). For these upgrades, the core card (not the entire system) must be returned intact and working to the factory in the UK for de-activation.
LRX1: The customer can upgrade to a higher specified system (i.e. H-Series or LRX2). For these systems, the working LRX1 will need to be returned to the factory in the UK for de-activation.
Which new equipment can be upgraded to?
As part of an upgrade, the new system must be one of the following core systems: The upgrade can include extra software or hardware components, as long as they are purchased as part of a single order at the time of the upgrade. We will issue an upgrade license, once the original card is either returned to us or we are satisfied that it has been destroyed as described above. Certain items do not attract an upgrade discount.
How much discount do I get?
The upgrade discount is fixed at 25% off the UK list price of the upgradeable items. Certain items do not attract an upgrade discount.
