SADiE v6.0.2 is a service release for SADiE v6.0 and can be downloaded free of charge by owners of SADiE v6.0. We recommend that all users of an earlier SADiE6 should install this update.
Download Process
You can download the full SADiE 6 Sound Suite installer by filling in the request form at the bottom of this page. You will be sent a download link automatically by email enabling you to get the installer. The download link times out after 7 days and cannot be transferred to a different computer, but don't worry, you can simply fill in the form again to get a new link.
If SADiE6 has never been on your PC, the software will run in 'trial' mode for 30-days. During this time, you should request the license key to unlock the package you have purchased, Radio Producer, Mastering Suite, Post Suite or Sound Suite. (For existing users who are upgrading, there's no need to refresh the software licence - it will continue to work.)
This is achieved via the 'Help' drop-down menu by selecting 'Manage Licenses'. Follow the instructions on this page to "Create License Request' and email the resulting '.ARQ' file to Prism Sound along with any purchase details - order number, company name etc. - that you can supply
When Prism Sound has received the Request File, a 'License Response File' is generated and emailed back to you. This Response File is what you use to unlock the software - full instructions are on the register page as part of the process.
System Requirements
SADiE 6 requires Windows 7, Vista or XP, 32bit versions only. It will not install on Windows 64bit editions.
Existing Installations
SADiE6 cannot be installed alongside SADiE5 or a prior copy of SADiE6. Whether you've been running SADiE5 or have an early version of SADiE6, it is important that any old version of SADiE is UNINSTALLED before the new downloaded version is installed. Go to Control Panel and select: Add/Remove programs and remove SADiE5 (or SADiE6). Uninstalling a previous version will not remove projects or settings.
Dongles
This release supports USB dongles for licensing. If you have ordered dongles, or wish to transfer your licence to a dongle, you should contact your dealer to obtain one.
iZotope Plug-ins
Included with ALL SADiE 6 packages at no additional cost are a set of 9 customized iZotope plug-ins. This set of creative plug-ins are described here, and are installed automatically when SADiE6 is installed, even in 'trial' mode and will run while SADiE 6 is running.

Release Notes
Release Notes are installed during the installation process which include detailed information on the changes between this and earlier versions of SADiE. These are also available here: SADiE v6.0.2 Release Notes.
Operational Changes
There is a small change to default desktops which is described in more detail in the user manual (Index/Default Settings..). If you're not happy with the desktop this version first gives you, load your usual desktop, or resize windows to suit, and then from the Environment menu choose Desktop and then 'Save Desktop as startup desktop'.
There have been some minor changes to the DDP format, details are listed in the Release Notes and a separate note here DDP Updates documentation.
