Slithers: 16 Channel AES Digital

16 Channel AES modular I/O expansion card
Originally designed as an input/output card for the popular PCM-H64 system, the AES16 slither card is also used in the LRX2 location recorder. This card provides 16 channels of high quality digital interface to full AES-3 specification and at all standard sample rates up to 96kHz.¹

The card plugs directly into the PCM-H64 or LRX2 system and the interconnections are made available on a 25way female D-type. The card is normally supplied with two adapter looms which convert the D-types to XLR connectors.

¹ Please note that 192kHz operation is not currently fully supported in the LRX2.
