SADiE KEYNOTE 2007 SALES FOR NEW H128 MULTITRACK SYSTEMS
January 2007 - SADiE has started 2007 with a bang with the delivery of two PCM-H128 large scale multitrack systems to major European customers. Poland's public television network broadcasting corporation Telewizja Polska Spółka Akcyjna (TVP S.A., "Polish Television") has taken delivery of the first of a planned series of H128 systems for installation into a mobile recording facility. The TVP system is equipped as a dual MADI system for recording up to a maximum of 128 channels simultaneously. The system will be connected to a Stagetec Aurus 48-fader digital production console for recording a wide variety of remote recording projects. Having evaluated a number of other multichannel systems from other manufacturers with disappointing results, TVP engineers report that they were extremely impressed with the rock-solid inherent stability and ease of use of the SADiE PCM-H128. Key to the decision to go for SADiE was the high sample rate operation multichannel capability. In addition, the straightforward OMF import and export capability of the SADiE system was seen another plus for use of the machine within the TV and post-production environment. Another notable sale of a PCM-H128 has recently been delivered to leading post-production studio DIVERSIFIED TECHNOLOGIES in Milan, Italy. The studio is contracted to undertake all the recording work for the forthcoming "Symphonic Season" of the world famous LA SCALA theatre in Milan. This system is optimised for 96khz/24bit recording of up to 48 channels and is fitted with 3 x 16chan AES/EBU DI cards. The system was supplied complete with a four drive external RAID configuration. The system was specified and supplied to Diversified Technologies by SADiE's distributor in Italy, Te.De.S. S.r.l.Via Durando, 38 - Edificio 3 20158 - MILANO (MI) www.tedes.it |
